Simulation of the drying process for a forest combustible materials layer (English)

The theory of drying of colloid capillary-porous bodies and the general mathematical model of forest fires are used to construct a mathematical model of the drying process for the combustible material layer of a forest. The model proposed takes into account heating of the combustible layer by the solar radiation and warm wind as well as mass transfer. Numerical study of the model is carried out and results of numerical experiments are presented.
