A plane problem on a floating elastic plate (English)

Distributions of elastic stresses and deflections are determined for a plate under the action of hydrodynamic loads caused by a running-on gravity wave. The results are obtained by a new method when the distribution of hydrodynamic pressure along the plate is taken as an expansion in trigonometric functions while the deflection of the plate is taken as an expansion in special functions.
