The problem on deformations of a laminated construction built of elastic layers is reduced to a minimization problem for a functional defined on a set of kinematically accessible displacements satisfying boundary conditions on the front and inter-layer surfaces. An iteration process is proposed for a step-by-step minimization of the functional.
