Rectangular finite elements are constructed for which conjugation conditions are formulated in the form of continuity conditions for stresses and moments on their faces. These elements contain no singular points because only average (with respect to faces) values are involved. Thus, the elements proposed may be considered as natural regularizers in problems with stress singularities.
