Double-fluid steady filtration flows in near-shore water-bearing strata (English)
0 references
The author studies two-dimensional stationary filtration of two fluids of different densities with unknown contact interface. The problems of this type can describe, for example, the filtration in a water-bearing stratum of fresh water contacting with marine or salt ground waters, a fresh-water lens, a bottom-water cone near an imperfect well, the equilibrium of two interfaces by drainage, etc. Here the author proves the unique solvability for a wide class of contact filtration problems for porous channels with known boundary parts in the form of finite or infinite polygons.
