The author considers the motion of an asymmetric body with two rods connected with the equatorial plane of inertia. It is assumed that the body rotates around a fixed point, the rods are elastic, and the energy dissipation takes place due to the bending deformations of the rods. The qualitative behavior of the system is studied by means of asymptotic technique.
