    The development of the flow of viscous and viscoplastic media between two parallel plates (English)

    The author studies a flow of viscoplastic medium in the domain \(\,0\leq \bar z\leq 2h\,\) between two fixed parallel plates \(\,\bar z =0\,\) and \(\,\bar z\leq 2h\,\) subjected to the action of constant pressure gradient. Under some additional assumptions the problem is reduced to the one-dimensional heat conductivity equation for the rod of variable length. Besides, the rod prolongation law is not previously known. To specify this law an additional nonlinear boundary condition is used. The problem is solved in terms of the Slezkin-Targ method [{ S.~M.~Targ}, ``Main problems of laminar flows theory'', Gostekhizdat, Moscow (1951); { N.~A.~Slezkin}, ``Dynamics of viscous incompressible liquid'', Gostekhizdat, Moscow (1955)] and the asymptotic technique.
