The mixed symmetrical temperature problem for a transversely isotropic elastic layer (English)

The author considers a symmetric three-layer plate with absolutely rigid external layers expanding under the thermal effect. It is assumed that the internal layer (the filling) made of transversally isotropic material does not actually influence the external layers and the layers are in ideal contact. The author proposes to solve this problem by the modified Mathieu method [{ V.~A.~Buchin} and { I.~V.~Panferov}, Prikl. Mat. Mekh. 61, issue~3, 540--543 (1997; Zbl 0881.73016)].
