The condition for low stresses in a piecewise homogeneous wedge of nonlinear elastic materials (English)
0 references
A compound body is considered made of \(n\) wedge-like prismas the materials of which are strengthened by the power law: \(\,\sigma_0 = k\varepsilon_0^m\), \(\,\sigma_0\) and \(\varepsilon_0\) are the stress and strain intensities, \(k\) is the strain module and the parameter \(m\) is considered similar for all the materials. The author constructs the low-stress domains whose points correspond to the zero stressed states on the edge of the contact surfaces. Some examples are considered.
