The localization of clusters of floating particles on the surface of turbulent flow (English)

The authors discuss the behavior of a cluster of floating particles on the surface of turbulent fluid flow in a channel. It is assumed that the fluid flow across the channel and the transversal diffusion of particles are absent. The authors establish the possibility of cluster localization in the form of particle accumulation with increased concentration. Physical mechanism of localization phenomena is discussed.
