This is an expository paper on the following problem: Let \(X\) be a Banach space, \(Y\subset X\) a nonempty closed convex subset of \(X\) and \(f:Y\to Y\) a nonexpansive mapping. Under which additional metric restrictions on \(f\), does the mapping \(f\) have at least one fixed point? This survey focusses on rotative mappings and on mappings with constant displacement.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0970.54001].
