Consider an \(L\)-fuzzy topological space, where \(L\) is a lattice. For a member \(a\in L\), the authors define the concept of an \(a\)-closed fuzzy subset, and correspondingly of an \(a\)-closed topology. Using the stratification structure, for \(a\in L\) and \(a\)-regular \(L\)-fuzzy topological spaces, some characterizations of a type of fuzzy paracompactness are given.
