In the process of studying generalized functions of Colombeau type [also known as new generalized functions; cf. \textit{J. F. Colombeau}, Elementary Introdction to New Generalized Functions, North-Holland Math. Studies 113, Elsevier (1985; Zbl 0584.46024)] with compact spectrum, the author has presented basic notions (employed and useful for the present paper) and described spaces of functions and generalized functions employed further in the article.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThe paper contains two interesting propositions on generalized functions of compact spectrum in \({\mathcal H}_{\mu,\tau}\). In the final section of this article, a new space of generalized functions of Colombeau type is introduced to study the Hankel transformation.
