Validation of 2D inverse scattering algorithms from multi-frequency experimental data (English)

The aim of the paper is to validate two iterative methods for the reconstruction of 2D dielectric or conducting objects from multi-frequency experimental data. The first method, based on a boundary integral formulation, is used to find the boundary and the complex permittivity of homogeneous scatterers. To retrieve the complex permittivity distribution inside some domain as second method a domain integral formalism is investigated.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThe reconstructions from experimental data have been performed using a multi-frequency approach, where the algorithm starts with the lowest frequency and the result is used as initial guess at higher frequency.
