Optimal control for descriptor systems: Tracking problem (English)
0 references
The linear tracking problem for singular continuous-time linear systems is considered. The Hamilton-Jacobi approach is applied to compute the optimal control and associated trajectory. Two methods are presented. The first method is based on the Drazin inverse and the second one on the solution of a Riccati equation. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of a solution are established.
