This booklet gives an elementary introduction in Norwegian to the complex number system. Elementary implies that there are no power series and that the fundamental theorem of algebra is only postulated, not proved. NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThe booklet goes thoroughly through many examples of the use of complex numbers to roots of polynomials, and to various other topics. It derives for example the formula \(\sum_{n=1}^\infty 1/n^2= -\pi^2/6\) by elementary means.
