The text under review, i.e. \textit{Aliabraa Argibra}, presented and introduced by Raffaella Franci (University of Siena), refers to an anonymous manuscript, which is a treatise of algebra, dated by Warren van Egmont to about 1344, the possible author being Dardi. In Arabian, ``Aliabraa Argibra'' means ``presentation/discussion of subtle/intricate problems'', and refers to the solving of some most difficult mathematical aspects. NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThe volume, dedicated to Roberto Magari -- ``an algebraic mind'' -- resumes the structure of the manuscript, formed of two parts: the former one dedicated to calculations with roots and the latter named by its very author: Treatise of Algebra. In its turn, this has also two parts: a general one, and another containing 194 ``chapters''.
