LASS -- a language for agent-oriented software specification (English)
0 references
The systems with relatively autonomous and intelligent parts in the field of distributed artificial intelligence (DAI) are called agents. In this paper a new agent-oriented programming language named LASS is presented. In fact LASS is aimed for agent-oriented programming in multi-agent systems. Some kind of the modified Backus notation is used for the description of LASS-syntax.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINELASS aims to make programming more convenient and easier for wider population of people. Agents programmed with LASS can have deliberative properties (plans, intentions) and the behaviors. The features of LASS are compared with other agent-oriented programming languages (AGENT0, PLACA, HOMAGE). LASS and ideas on which LASS is based were conceptually applied in the previous research of the authors, but it is not yet available for practical use.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0977.00022].
