The author has given in [C. R. Acad. Bulg. Sci. 44, No. 3, 5-6 (1991; Zbl 0776.54020)] a sketch of a theory of completion for a class of quasi-uniform spaces. Now he presents a detailed exposition and shows that his theory is closely related to the one due to the reviewer [Acta Math.
