The security of the NTRU public key cryptosystem [\textit{J. Hoffstein}, \textit{J. Pipher} and \textit{J. Silverman}, ANTS III, Lect. Notes Comput. Sci. 1423, 267-288 (1998; Zbl 1067.94538)] is based on the difficulty of solving certain lattice problems.
