They offer an interesting glimpse upon the life, and views of Wilhelm Blaschke in those years, later an influential figure, including a few of his mathematical ideas, concerns about his academic career (he took then posts in Greifswald, Prag, Leipzig, Königsberg, Tübingen, and Hamburg), his marriage, opinions on World War I, relations with some colleagues etc. The paper is well organized and interesting to read.
