A limit model in the analysis of steel-concrete beams (English)
0 references
The author deals with the problem of two bodies joined along their common surface by a thin soft third material having a periodic microstructure. It is shown that one obtains a limiting simplified elastic problem which describes the original configuration. The author establishes existence and uniqueness of solution to this limiting problem, and proves the strong convergence of approximate solutions in the energy norm. Additionally, the author gives an estimate of error between the simplified model and the original model.
