The metrics of a typical class of Riemannian manifolds were studied by E. Boeckx et al. under the name ``Riemannian manifold of conullity two''. In this paper a characterization theorem for hypersurfaces of conullity two is proved which are one-parameter systems of torses. It is shown that ruled hypersurfaces can be considered as a special class of hypersurfaces of conullity two.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0971.00014].
