This paper studies unilateral contact problems without friction for linear Kirchhoff plate model and Reissner plate model, with a nonconvex extension of \textit{K. Ito} and \textit{K. Kunisch} [SIAM J. Control Optimization 33, No. 2, 643--666 (1995; Zbl 0817.49030)] augmented Lagrangian method, and with the nonconvex duality theory by \textit{R. T. Rockafellar} and \textit{R. J.-B. Wets} [Variational analysis. Grundlagen der Mathematischen Wissenschaften. 317. Berlin: Springer. xii (1998; Zbl 0888.49001)] which has been extended to continuous systems. Some specific examples have also been provided. Related results can be found in \textit{K. Ito} and \textit{K. Kunisch} [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl. 41A, No. 5--6, 591--615 (2000; Zbl 0971.49014)].
