Non-existence of \(f\)-symbols in generalized Taub-NUT spacetimes (English)
0 references
The authors discuss the generalized Taub-NUT metric, which is of physical interest as a type of generalization of the Kepler problem. The Killing vectors and the constants of motion are reviewed. In addition it is proven that if the extended Taub-NUT metrics posses a Stäckel-Killing tensor there exists no \(f\)-symbols in this class of metrics.
