The author considers characteristic features of submerged moving water animals from the point of view to reduce the energy consumption. Principles of functioning hydrobiont, peculiarities of morphology and physiology of a skeleton, muscles, skin covers, circulatory system and dolphin innervation with regard to the force action of biosphere to animals are considered. The influence of several parameters on animals is investigated, such as the swimming velocity, nonstationary state of flow, nontraditional way to create a thrust and specific structure of the body. The results of measurements of temperature on the surface skin, distribution of elasticity, damping properties of skin, as well as properties of turbulent boundary layer are presented for various regimes of dolphin movement. The functioning of organism systems and mechanisms of regulation of mechanical skin properties depending on swimming velocities are considered. The results of experimental researches for some models of hydrobiont are presented.
