An iteration procedure for nonlinear boundary conditions (English)

The authors study the general semilinear second-order ordinary differential equation \(u''(t)= f(t,u,u')\) with the nonlinear boundary condition \(u(0)= h_0(u(0), u'(0))\), \(u(T)= h_T(u(T), u'(T))\). They show, using Schauder's theorem, how to obtain solutions to the above problem under growth conditions on \(f\) and \(h\). The authors derive solutions by a recursive method.
