The study, devoted to analyzing the permanent change to which the needs and expactations recorded in mathematical knowledge management, discusses the manner in which the mathematical community of the early 20th century is affected by/confronted with such an idea.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEA first section is presenting the collaboration between G. H. Hardy and J. E. Littlewood -- which is actually one of the most reputed cooperations -- at academic level -- in the last century. There follows a necessary discussion on the impact of some new, daring concepts, on the different social groups forming a human community related by numerous common factors of influence, consequently, the language, the purposes, the methods and the meeting places of a community are taken into consideration.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThe last parts of the study describe the extendable mathematical text-based database, recommended in the management of some forms of mathematical knowledge (the titles of the paragraphs include notions such as: scribal culture, typographic culture, electronic culture).NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0978.00042].
