Sensitivity analysis and design optimization of differential-algebraic equation systems (English)
0 references
The authors present algorithms and software for solving systems of differential-algebraic equations addressing the general problem of design optimization and optimal control. The focus is on the ``multiple shooting method'' for discretization of control problems, where the time interval is divided into subintervals, and the system is solved on each subinterval with continuity requirements between the subintervals. An example of a planar model of a crane is presented.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0972.00063].
