Galois cohomology (Q2768082)

This is the written account (without proofs) of two introductory talks given by the author on the subject of Galois cohomology. In the first part, the basic topics of group cohomology are covered: cochains and coboundaries, usual functorial operations, inflation-restriction sequences, cup products\dots, and they are illustrated by classical examples: Hilbert's theorem 90, the Brauer group, the Shafarevich group, Kummer theory\dots The second part is an introduction to Tate's duality, but only over a local field, probably as a bait in view of global duality.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0974.00034].
