This paper deals with properties of a triangle connected with its important points and its important straight lines. The role of the Gergonne point in the geometry of arbitrary non-equilateral triangles is established. Properties of the important points of the sequence of Euler's triangles are studied. The problem of splitting the symmetry center of the equilateral triangle in some families of triangles with two fixed vertices is solved.
