This article studies the stability of self-similar solutions with perfect fluids that obey the equation of state \(P=k\rho\) against the so-called kink mode. The kink mode is a weak discontinuity which diverges in a finite time interval. It can occur at sonic points. A range of the physical parameters is given, where the solutions are stable.
