Extending coexistence and permanence conditions to generalized food web models (English)
0 references
The author discussed a generalized reaction-diffusion system of Lotka-Volterra type. A sufficient condition is given for the presence of a coexistence state in terms of the growth and interaction parameters of the species. It is further shown that under the same condition, the system possesses a positive global attractor. The key to approach the above conclusion is to examine the system under matrix representation, apply the iterate method of upper and lower solutions as well as some principles of Euclidean geometry.
