On Haviland's condition and the \(K\)-moment problem (English)

The so-called \(K\)-moment problem on an adapted commutative *-semigroup is considered for a closed subset \(K\) of \(\mathbb{R}^d\). \textit{E. K. Haviland}'s condition [Am. J. Math. 57, 562-568 (1935; Zbl 0013.05904)] and the notion of \(K\)-spectral states are modified.
