Unmasking the trend sought by Jonckheere-type tests for right censored data (English)
0 references
The considered data consist of \(s\) homogeneous groups of randomly right censored failure times. Let \(F_i\) be the cdf for the \(i\)-th group, \(\bar F_i=1- F_i\). Jonckheere-type tests for the hypothesis \(H_0:\) \(\bar F_1=\bar F_2=\dots=\bar F_s\) against \(\bar F_1\geq\bar F_2\geq\dots\geq\bar F_s\) are considered. The author considers three types of test statistics and three types of weights for them (Gehan, Peto-Prentice, log-rank). The asymptotic relative efficiency of the obtained tests is evaluated.
