Some results on a new generalized incomplete gamma function (English)

\textit{F. Al-Musallam} and the reviewer [Integral Transforms Spec. Funct. 7, No.~3-4, 175-190 (1998; Zbl 0922.33001) and Appl. Anal. 66, No. 1, 173-187 (1997; Zbl 0886.33002)] have defined a class of generalized gamma and incomplete gamma functions and obtained a number of properties including asymptotic expansions. Following the same technique, the author considers certain integrals where the Gauss hypergeometric function of the earlier papers has been replaced by the Kummer's confluent hypergeometric function. Some properties including recurrence relations are given.
