On locally cyclic Abelian groups of torsion-free rank 1 (English)

In this paper locally cyclic groups of torsion-free rank 1 are studied (i.e. arbitrary -- mixed -- Abelian groups of torsion-free rank 1 such that, for every prime \(p\), the \(p\)-component \(G_p\) is cyclic). These groups turn out to be strongly ADE decomposable groups (i.e. some \(T(G)\)-high subgroup is purifiable in \(G\)).
