The author weakens the genericity assumption from the main results of \textit{N. Boston} and \textit{B. Mazur} [in: Algebraic number theory -- in honor of K.\ Iwasawa, Proc.\ Workshop Iwasawa Theory Special Values of \(L\)-Functions, Berkeley/CA, 1987, Adv.\ Stud.\ Pure Math.\ 17, 1-21 (1989; Zbl 0739.11021)], thereby obtaining similar results in the degenerate case. He also gives some examples.
