Foncteurs polynomiaux et foncteurs de Mackey non linéaires. (Polynomial functors and nonlinear Mackey functors) (Q2773549)

Let \(P_n({\mathbb{Z}})\) be the category of polynomial functors with degree \(\leq n\) for \(n\geq 1\) from the category of free abelian groups (of finite type) to the category of abelian groups. NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEQuadratic functors has been applied by \textit{H. J. Baues} [J. Pure Appl. Algebra 91, No.~1-3, 49-107 (1994; Zbl 0790.55014)] to approach the category \(P_2({\mathbb{Z}})\). The authors make use of an appropriate notion of Mackey functors to present a neat description of the category \(P_n({\mathbb{Z}})\).
