Semi-inverse solutions in nonlinear theory of elastic shells (English)

The author studies shell models of Love and Cosserat type. Exact solutions of equilibrium equations are given for the following four problems: cylindrical shells under spatial bending; cylindrical shells under torsion; shells of revolution under bending, twisting and shifting, and sectors of shells of revolution under straightening and twisting.
