Inertia effects in the flow of a micropolar fluid in a slot between rotating surfaces of revolution (English)
0 references
The author studies steady laminar flow of incompressible micropolar fluid in a slot between rotating surfaces of revolution, having a common axis of symmetry. Assuming that the thickness of the slot is small as compared to other dimensions, the boundary layer equations are solved by the method of small parameter. The general solutions are obtained and discussed numerically for two particular cases of slot configuration.
