The paper is devoted to perturbation techniques in constructing new integrable systems in classical mechanics. Analytical conditions for the periodicity of billiard trajectories with ellipsoid are given. The author reviews recent results of himself and his collaborators published in several papers in J. Math. Phys. and J. Phys. A.
