System theory and cybernetics a solid basis for transdisciplinarity in management education and research (English)
0 references
Systems theory and cybernetics are considered to be a solid basis for interdisciplinarity in management education and research. The ``St. Gallen Management Model'' is presented, which was developed by Hans Ullrich. Here business schools are not organised along disciplinary lines but in a general, complex view. The paper deals with abstract directions in management education and research; there are no direct connections with mathematics. Process controlling is to be understood as steering and regulation of economic processes.
