Wormholes and timelike curves: Is there room for the grandfather paradox? (English)

The author analyzes the so-called ``grandfather paradox''. This paradox appears in space-time where closed time-like curves exist. In mathematical terms it simply means that the Cauchy problem for the Einstein field equation fails to be well-posed. Obviously, under such circumstances some physically processes can be debated.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0971.00011].
