Two types of nonlinearities in magnetic dynamo (English)
0 references
For an \({\alpha}\)-effect based dynamo model, the authors calculate the nonlinear mean electromotive force for anisotropic turbulence with one preferential direction, in the case in which the mean magnetic field is not enough strong in order to affect the correlation time of turbulent velocity field. It is found that toroidal and poloidal magnetic fields have different nonlinear turbulent diffusion coefficients. It is also shown that the anisotropy of turbulence strongly affects the nonlinear turbulent diffusion coefficients and nonlinear effective velocity.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0973.00055].
