Model predictive control: Output feedback and tracking of nonlinear systems (English)

In this survey paper the authors describe three algorithms for the extension of model predictive control (MPC) schemes to output feedback and tracking problems. First, they show how standard MPC schemes can be coupled with nonlinear observers maintaining the stability of the overall closed-loop system. Second, they describe how MPC can be used for asymptotic disturbance rejection and tracking of exogeneous signals, where the focus is on asymptotically constant signals, which allow such algorithms to be implemented with feasible computational load.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0976.00019].
