Quantum chaos: A brief first visit (English)
0 references
These lecture notes are addressed to mathematics graduate students, who had little or no exposure to physics, and to quantum mechanics in particular. They give an elementary and self-contained introduction to selected aspects of quantum chaos, a brief introduction to the Hamiltonian and quantum mechanics of a point particle, sets the grounds for studying billiards and then chaotic maps on a torus. A complete and self-contained proof of the Schnirelman theorem is given in this context.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0977.00018].
