With the advancement of computer science, computer oriented mathematical textbooks became of increasing importance. The present book is a successful answer to this need. It is associated with the software package THE SOLVER HM, which enables students to solve the problems (some of them of high difficulty) discussed in the book. Each section deals with a specific problem, giving a solution plan with some theoretical comments, a solution example and several problems of the same type, with the corresponding answers. NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINETHE SOLVER HM helps the student to concentrate on the new and essential, while the computer does all the operations that are already known to the student.
