On the Lebesgue measure of self-affine sets (English)

Sufficient conditions in terms of the digit set are supplied for certain classes of self-affine multi-sets to have positive Lebesgue measure. The main theorem generalizes a previous result by \textit{C. Bandt} [Nato ASI Ser., Ser. C, Math. Phys. Sci. 489, 45-83 (1997; Zbl 0891.58018)].
