The zeta function of \(\mathfrak{sl}_2\) and resolution of singularities (English)

The authors give an explicit formula for the \(p\)-adic local zeta function associated to \({\mathfrak sl}_2(\mathbb{Z}_p)\). They use (1) cone integral and (2) resolution of singularities and introduce a new method for the \(p\)-adic local zeta function. Their new method guarantees the case of \(p=2\), which has been missing until now.
